Our Youth Leadership Program provides an opportunity for young martial artists to give back to their community, and continue to expand their knowledge of the martial arts. These volunteers receive free martial arts training, and seminars and events exclusive to volunteers. See below for requirements and how to apply!
Help Build a Stronger, Safer Community
Youth Leadership Volunteers are martial arts students from surrounding dojos, that help fundraise, assist and advocate for BSMA. The requirements to be a Leadership Volunteer are as follows:
Age 10 - 17
Intermediate Belt or Above in your trained discipline
You must continue your training in your current martial arts program or sport
Commit to one leadership meeting per month, consisting of volunteer and fundraising assignment discussion, and martial arts training.
Commit to volunteering at least once per month: assisting with class/workshops, or being an advocate at promotional events.
